The Birkenhead2020 Project – February Round-up

And another month has gone … here we are on February 29th and Christmas only seemed like it was a couple of weeks ago!

Following on from the amazing variety of weather we had in January, the February weather was either gloriously sunny or very wet and very windy, but always cold! (Thanks, Ciara & Dennis!) But the cold and wet didn’t dampen our spirits and we headed out to photograph the town armed with gloves, hats and scarves.

We now have more that 2,600 photographs in the archive covering a total of 338 different streets, so we’re on target to complete the project by the year end. However, if you would like to join our team of contributors, you are more than welcome – please go to this page if you’d like to find out more >>>

Here are some of our favourite photos from February (in no particular order) by me (Dave), Peter Weston, Jean-Pierre Magloire & Rob Orr.
